Project Description
THANK YOU TO FEED THE HUNGER
In January, the Open Door Foundation furthered its collaboration with Feed The Hunger to provide vital assistance to the residents of Izmail, situated in the Odessa region. Through this partnership, we initiated a rice distribution program aimed at ensuring a sustainable food supply for those facing hardships in these trying times.
Our combined efforts reached a total of 1,700 individuals in the Odessa region, delivering essential aid to alleviate food insecurity. Moreover, we extended our support to 500 people in Kirovograd and 1,200 in Mykolaiv, reaffirming our dedication to assisting communities across Ukraine in times of need.
The impact of this joint effort was significant, as rice packages were distributed, not just delivering sustenance but also bringing smiles and warm emotions to the recipients. The community expressed immense gratitude for each package, thanking Feed The Hunger for their continuous support and acknowledging the blessings received from God through this initiative.
The January rice distribution in Izmail stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and compassion in the face of adversity. Together with Feed The Hunger, Open Door Foundation remains dedicated to providing essential support, ensuring that no one in Ukraine goes hungry during these difficult times. Thank you, Feed The Hunger, for being a beacon of hope and sustenance in our community.
With three young children aged 5, 7, and 10, navigating through these challenging times feels incredibly tough. With my husband deployed to the war, managing everything alone has been overwhelming. I can’t express enough gratitude to Feed the Hunger for providing us with food. Your support has been a lifeline for us during these difficult times. Thank you, thank you so much.”
