It was an honor to be able to host a summer camp at the Yabloniv Orphanage. Our team of volunteers lived with the children at the orphanage; we were given the ability to take over the orphanage for 10 days.

A safe environment, which enables orphans to experience learning, discovery, and sharing with mutual respect and, of course, smiles and laughter, is of the utmost importance to us.

It was the first year that we had the privilege of staying at the orphanage with the children for 10 days straight. It was a great experience. We know that God did amazing work, not just for the children, but also for the staff at the orphanage.

We served a wide range of ages–children from 5 to 17 years old. It was a time of growing character, skills, relationships, and faith through old-fashioned fun in a safe and nurturing environment. The children experienced a deeper and greater friendship and acquired teamwork skills, increased confidence, and a deeper understanding of God’s love.
